        • Enriching the lives of all of our citizens.

      • The center will serve to offer educational remediation and enrichment to all citizens, of all ages, in Morton, PA.

      • The project will be implemented and sustained though the continuous efforts of the citizens and supporters of Morton, PA.

      • To secure a site, facility and programs to enrich the educational needs of the citizens of Morton, PA.

      • 1- Secure a ground site within the Borough of Morton, PA.

      • 2- Secure a permanent facility (modular unit)‏

      • 3- Offer tutorial and enrichment activities for all members of the community

      • 4- Secure the funds to start and maintain the operation of the Education Center.

      • This project will be managed by the collaboration of citizens who will work in committee.

      • The CORE TEAM of seven members will serve as the nucleus of the project.

      • There will be 40+ TASK FORCE Members who will serve in multiple capacities on our subcommittees.

      • Other Interested Citizens- these individuals will volunteer their time and expertise as needed.

        • Determine the size of the facility
        • Submit and review bids
        • Select a permanent modular unit
        • Secure the process of installation

      • Finance Committee :
        • Review contracts and other legal documents
        • Manage all financial expenditures
        • Complete all tax forms
        • Establish the Morton Education Foundation

      • Fundraising Committee:
      • - raise lots of money
      • -and then raise some more money

      • Grants Committee:
        • Identify potential grant options
        • Complete the application process
        • Complete final reports

        • Design a landscape plan for the site
        • Implement a donors’ brick path plan

        • Secure specific books through donations
        • Secure a magazine subscription drive
        • Maintain a current inventory

        • Maintain communication between and among the partners.
        • Develop clear, concise memorandums of agreement.

      • It is our hope to provide educational services to our community from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM throughout the work week and on the weekend as needed.

      • 8:00 PM to 2:00 PM
      • Programs sponsored by the DCIU. These programs could offer services to our pre-school aged children and to parents.

      • 3:00 PM to 5:30PM
      • After school tutorial and enrichment programs for our school aged children.

        • 6:00PM to 9:00 PM
      • Classes for college bound adults
