Most of the clip
was running
around a forest
which makes it
boring and
cliché.

This scene of the
clip was not really
clear what was
happening, which
makes it confusing
for the audience

Not a good
camera angle to
use as the
audience can
not see the
location in
frame clear

The title did not fit in with
the clip. They could have
used something like ‘A Dead
Girls Revenge’. It would
have made more sense.

Bad Acting throughout the
clip. There was laughing at
serious time which made the
clip lose its actual meaning.
Furthermore, some scenes
where too long and they
could have used these
minutes to incorporate their
title into their clip.

The music did not fit in
with the plot of the clip.
This is a love song which
does not really create a
sense of ‘Karma’. They
could have used
something with an
echoing tone to it to
create an evil atmosphere
to make their clip more
understandable.

Shaky camera when it was not needed

Lack of editing. Jump cuts and lack
continuity editing.
Title was very cliché. There did not seem to
be much thought into the title. Also the
score music used was not creative and took
most of the focus and however did not fit
the theme of the suicidal storyline.

The good use of
special effects,
which makes the
character seem
invisible, which
matches with the
clips tittle

In this clip they used
different angles to show
the body language and
the gesture of the main
character.

HIDDEN

The use of the voice
over made the clip
more dramatic as his
voice was slow pace

The cutaway throughout the
clip to the children to the car
created a sense of tension
and let the audience opened
minded to their own ideas.
This carried on right until the
very end as the there are
many theories as to what
can happen next.

The score non diegetic
music created a sense of
anticipation through the
clip which went nearly
with the genre of the clip
which is inevitably horror.

The use of effect in making the
boy disappear added to that
layer of fear which as been
running throughout the clip. It
fitted in nicely with the horror
genre and once again, the
audience were left with their
own interpretations of what
could happen next.

Good use of effects and HD close up

The POV hints the storyline and
with the use of costume
establishes the age, gender and
regional identity of the characters.
There was no shaking of the
camera unless when it was used
for purpose.

Not a complex title. Fits the genre and the use of effects used to create the title

  • 1. Assignment 6 Other AS Media Videos Research. Kelly Chelsea Gelsomina Tayla
  • 3. Kelly Morales-Bad examples Most of the clip was running around a forest which makes it boring and cliché. This scene of the clip was not really clear what was happening, which makes it confusing for the audience Not a good camera angle to use as the audience can not see the location in frame clear
  • 4. Gelsomina De Lucia – Bad Example. The title did not fit in with the clip. They could have used something like ‘A Dead Girls Revenge’. There was laughing at serious time which made the clip lose its actual meaning. Furthermore, some scenes where too long and they could have used these minutes to incorporate their title into their clip. The music did not fit in with the plot of the clip. This is a love song which does not really create a sense of ‘Karma’. They could have used something with an echoing tone to it to create an evil atmosphere to make their clip more understandable.

There did not seem to be much thought into the title. Also the score music used was not creative and took most of the focus and however did not fit the theme of the suicidal storyline.

Kelly Morales- Good Example The good use of special effects, which makes the character seem invisible, which matches with the clips tittle In this clip they used different angles to show the body language and the gesture of the main character. HIDDEN The use of the voice over made the clip more dramatic as his voice was slow pace
  • 8. Gelsomina De Lucia – Good Example. The cutaway throughout the clip to the children to the car created a sense of tension and let the audience opened minded to their own ideas. This carried on right until the very end as the there are many theories as to what can happen next. The score non diegetic music created a sense of anticipation through the clip which went nearly with the genre of the clip which is inevitably horror. http://ocrmediastudies.weebly.com/coursewor k-with-levels.html The use of effect in making the boy disappear added to that layer of fear which as been running throughout the clip. It fitted in nicely with the horror genre and once again, the audience were left with their own interpretations of what could happen next.

There was no shaking of the camera unless when it was used for purpose. Not a complex title. Fits the genre and the use of effects used to create the title
