    • Innovation in Action Showcase product demo proposal
      Deadline for presentation submission has been extended to September 10th, 2009.  Presentations selected by the DrivingSales community will be announced on September 15th.
      Selected presenters will have the opportunity to prepare their audience prior to DSES via DrivingSales.com.  A 1-2 page blog post about the topic must be submitted by the presenters before September 18th for publication on DrivingSales.com two weeks prior to the summit.
      To submit a breakout/roundtable session or innovative product proposal please email the following items to dses@drivingsales.com by September 10th:
      1.     Word document with your proposed topic/innovative product title, a 60 word summary (for display on the web site), and more detailed description of the topic (no more than 1 page total). see attached Word doc…

      Introducing the ADP Social Marketing and Reputation Management Solution
      This new ADP managed solution makes it a lot easier for dealers to leverage the overwhelming growth in consumer use of Social Networks and User Generated Content (UGC) sites.

      Ralph Paglia will showcase the latest ADP Digital Marketing solution prototype, which is a Social Marketing and Reputation Management package of services and technologies. This solution will not be released to the ADP Sales teams prior to NADA 2010. Social Media is changing the way people get their information about cars they are thinking about buying, and the dealerships they will choose. This transformational shift is moving their information sources further away from marketers and closer to other consumers who they relate to from within their communities. Social Networks, UGC sites and all that makes up what some people call Web 2.0 combine to create a tsunami wave of impact that will make any influence the Internet has had on the car business during the past few years look mild in comparison.

      Ralph Paglia is responsible for business development at ADP’s Digital Marketing Group. Paglia helped establish strategic alliances for ADP with digital marketing enterprises such as Google, Yahoo!, KBB, Specific Media, Jumpstart, DealerRater, Ning and DoubleClick. Ralph has over 20 years of automotive experience including Reynolds Consulting Practice Leader and several dealership management positions. At Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix his Internet and BDC teams generated over 4,000 vehicle sales in 2006. Paglia has developed digital dealer programs for Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Toyota and others. Ralph recently collaborated with Ford marketing executives to create and launch the Ford Digital Advertising Program for Dealers.
