AIMS OF THE PROJECTInfluencing  every coeliac patient must have access to diet consultation – Good Treatment Guide: cosultation should be given twice during the first year, then if needed Developing the Know How of dietitians - Content, quality and customer oriented approach of the consultation Reducing the risk for complications - Preventing and mending poor diet therapy Prevention of big national diseases Producing tools to support professionals and coeliacs - A guide for diet consultation, a brochure of a healthy gluten- free diet
  4. 4. AREA, WAYS AND TIME TABLE OF IMPLEMENTATION• A nationwide project for 2009 – 2011• Influence targeted on the healthcare sector• 2-day regional training sessions for dietitians• Production of written and electric material• Development of Diet Consultation Model together with dietitians
  5. 5. RESOURCES AND COOPERATION• Dietitian as a project manager• Cooperation with regional dietitians, doctors and psychologists (training days, production of materials)• Cooperation with other patients’ organisations (influencing work)• Project funding from the Slot Machine Association
