  • 2. Good Christian people, I bid you now pray for the saving presence of
    our living God.
  • 3. In this world:
    Christ is risen.
  • 4. In the places where we live:
    Christis risen.
  • 5. In our faith communities:
    Christis risen.
  • 6. In this gathering:
    Christis risen.
  • 7. In the hearts of all faithful people:
    Christis risen.
  • 8. Today I especially bid you pray for Mary, who is leaving ourgroup, and for those of us who stay.
  • 9. For expectations not met:
    Godhave mercy.
  • 10. For grievances not resolved:
    Godhave mercy.
  • 11. For wounds not healed:
    Godhave mercy.
  • 12. For anger not dissolved:
    Godhave mercy.
  • 13. For gifts not given:
    God have mercy.
  • 14. For this portion of our lifelong pilgrimages which we have made together:
    Thanks be to God.
  • 15. For friendships made, celebrations enjoyed, and moments of nurture:
    Thanks be to God.
  • 16. For wounds healed, expectations met, gifts given, promises kept:
    Thanks be to God.
  • 17. For trust and confidence shared; for times of good humor and moments of gentle leadership:
    Thanks be to God.
  • 18. To continue the journey with new friends, new adventures, new gifts to give and receive:
    Go in peace.
  • 19. To offer wisdom and experience, competence and compassion, in the ministries to which weare called:
    Go in peace.
  • 20. In faith, hope, and love:
    Go in peace.
  • 21. Your own prayers are invited
    at this time:
  • 22. Now, we pray, be with us; and grant that all of us, by drawing ever nearer to you, may always be close to each other in the communion of your saints.
