  3. 3.  Kapil Sibal was born on 8 August ,1948 Jalandhar, Punjab. He is a lawyer by profession and has made deep impact on Indian politics. He completed his graduation in Law from St. Stephens college, New Delhi. Kapil Sibal joined the Bar association in 1970. In 1973, he qualified for Indian Administrative Services but rejected an appointment & decided to set up his own law practice. He was designated as a Senior Lawyer in 1983. He was also the Additional Solicitor General of India between 1989 and 1990.
  4. 4.  In 2004 general elections, Kapil Sibal became a MP by winning the Chandani Chowk constituency in the National Capital Territory representing the Congress Party. He became president of Supreme Court Bar Association for the three consecutive years and member of Rajya Sabha ; too. Over the years, he has held several important positions in the Government of India and the Society . He is currently the Minister of Human Resource Development and Minister of Communications and Information Technology. He also held the two positions of Minister of Science and Technology and Minister of Earth Sciences in the First cabinet of Mr.Manmohan Singh .
  5. 5.  The most important quality Of Kapil Sibal is his vision for the future. His strong charismatic character make him capable to inspire, to preach or to stir the people to greater things. Has an experience of almost 12-15 years in Indian politics so he has certain goals to achieve . Law practice around 15-20 years has gained him self discipline & open minded attitude. Diplomatic skills and good communicator behaviour.
  6. 6.  He represented India in the annual meeting of World Economic Forum in 2005 and 2009 which was held at Davos, Switzerland. He led the Indian delegation to Annapolis, USA to gather support for the establishment of Palestinian state. He also led the Indian delegation to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate change December 2007. He is the man behind implementing the new Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation system in India which will provide better educational environmental to the students.
