Lets bridge it up!!

15. My suggestions for students
• As Rock music evolved for the necessity of
expression
– Students should share their knowledge and understanding
about a particular subject
– They should express if they have not understood any of
the topics
• As Rock culture was the representation of the
masses
– Students should understand that they represent their
fellow classmates (all over the world)
– They should take this as a responsibility and help by
becoming the tutor for each other
1/6/2012 Kaustubh A. Bhake, SIBM Bangalore 15
16. My suggestions for Teachers
• Rock music evolved from the leaders like Jimi
Hendrix and Eric Clapton
– Teachers should lead from the front
– Should help students all over the world by sharing their
expertise and providing new insights for the topics
• As the Rock musicians changed their music as per the
people’s demand
– Teachers should refrain from one-size-fits-all attitude
– They should customize the teaching according to the need
and want of the students
– They should humanize the social media discussion forums

17. The student-teacher interaction
• Just the way a child learns to ride a bicycle, teachers
should focus on providing deep knowledge by
sharing live examples, videos, etc.
• Teachers should recommend students to read about
the thinkers and masters of the particular field and
help them understand the thinker’s point of view
• Students don’t prefer asking doubts in a class for the
fear of public speaking or for the fear of the teachers
itself. They can avoid it and they should feel free to
raise concerns with others

19. And finally….
Just as Rock music digs deep in our heart, just
as it gives voice to our concerns, just as it helps
us identify ourselves and just as Rock music is
ever lasting……
Social media in education sector will help us
raise our voice for better understanding, it will
help knowledge dig deep in our hearts so that
this newly acquired knowledge through social
media lasts forever!!!!!
