Specialist Claims Handling
All Coversure policyholders enjoy the peace of mind of our award winning
Coversure Claimsline service. This dedicated service provides expert fleet
claims management in the event of an accident, fire or theft.
Claimsline is on hand 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and can quickly arrange
assistance, roadside recovery, replacement vehicles and repairs.
Fully Comprehensive
In the event of an accident and where comprehensive cover is in place,
Claimsline will arrange for repairs to be quickly completed, wherever
possible a replacement vehicle will be provided.
As well as managing your claim and ensuring repairs are quickly and efficiently
handled, Claimsline will also work on your behalf, assisting and guiding you
through all the other paperwork and processes following an accident in your
fleet.
Fire and Theft
If you have a fire claim or if your vehicle is stolen, Claimsline will report
the incident to your insurer. If it is covered under your policy, have it
recovered and then work on your behalf to get you the best possible
settlement. We will take you through how to notify the Police, advise you
on what is needed to establish the value and negotiate with your insurers
whilst keeping you fully updated on what is happening.
Third Party
If an accident was somebody else’s fault, Claimsline will take care of
recovering your out of pocket expenses and uninsured losses from the third
party. Our experienced staff will tell you what you can and cannot claim
for, and then pursue the claim on your behalf including issuing legal
proceedings if we can’t get your losses back.
Personal Injury
If you are injured in an accident, we will help to get the damages your
drivers are entitled to. Due to changes in the law on 1st April 2013 solicitors
are now permitted, in certain circumstances, to keep up to 25% of your
damages. At Coversure we have negotiated special terms to ensure that these
charges are capped at no more than 10%.

Telematics and Fleet Insurance
Many fleets already have telematics systems in place and those that don’t
can benefit hugely from implementing the technology.
Coversure are specialists in telematics. Along with exclusive policy
discount schemes for fleets with tracking, we are able to interrogate
existing tracking systems to build a stronger proposal for negotiating with
underwriters.
For fleets that don’t currently have telematics, we are able to arrange
discounted installation of insurance compliant solutions from the UK’s
major brands including TomTom, Fleetmatics and Quartix.
Coversure RiskDrive
Using your existing telematics system RiskDrive monitors the key driving
risk factors as seen by your broker or underwriter. This information is
presented to you and Coversure in simple charts showing the performance
of each vehicle or driver and is available at any time online.
RiskDrive helps us to better understand our customer’s fleets and how they
work, and allows us to proactively work with our policy holders to
minimise claims. Fewer claims enables Coversure to negotiate the best
rates at renewal.

Witness cameras are video recorders
mounted to the windscreen of a
vehicle. They record the driver’s eye
view and record video evidence that
can be presented to insurers or the
police in the event of an incident.
Video evidence is usually decisive
when making or defending an
insurance claim. It can rule out unfair
50/50 settlements where it is one
driver’s word against another and in
all cases dramatically reduces the
time and costs associated with
claims.
Why we recommend witness cameras
In an ideal world we would like all our customers’ vehicles to have witness
cameras fitted. They provide us with invaluable information in the event of
accident and help to speed up the processing of a claim.
The fact that video evidence quickly determines the party at fault means
that liability can be accepted and payouts can made more quickly. This
reduces the costs of hire vehicles, legal costs and personal injury claims.
Lower claims experiences help us to negotiate our customer’s even better
rates on renewal.

To keep our fleet customers on the move we offer discounted RAC fleet
breakdown cover with all policies.
The RAC is Britain’s most experienced breakdown provider, with an
average roadside repair time of 34 minutes. Last year alone more than
330,000 business vehicles were repaired on the roadside minimizing the
impact on their working day.
We believe breakdown cover is an essential part of any fleet insurance
policy and offer the top level of RAC cover for only £70 per vehicle, per
year.
In addition you will receive free access to RAC’s business club portal,
which offers online fleet management and servicing discounts.
