By any account, 2009 was a watershed year in which politics, the economy, public sentiment and the media all played a significant role in framing a new environment for health care over the next decade. With tumultuous challenge to the first significant overhaul of our nation’s health care system since the introduction of Medicare in the mid-1960s, health systems are still trying to determine the likely impact of payment reform initiatives on health system strategy. • nataliehodge Personal Medicine at Personal Medicine Thanks Karen, we used heavy social media to get to market without the big budget that Mike and I initially worked on. It's all inbound now, and we're signing up doc's right through the site. tech partner for all the backbone, and hosting, so we're really just implementation and sales organization. Lucky I morphed a presentation on innovation into a prelim to sales pitch and all our demo's are available on the site. We are meeting with CHOP within the month to talk about how PM may fit into their physician integration strategy and 5 year strategic plan. Lucky break, a strategic planner who is close to their CEO/CIO mentioned us to get the meeting. Love to have your feedback on the site. Let me know if you have clients with interest. We are just pricing short term consulting for our team by hourly, then of course it's free for the docs to sign up. The CME is a teaser to generate interest. Best, Natalie 2 years ago Reply

  • nataliehodge Personal Medicine at Personal Medicine Nice article Karen, hope you will come hear me panel next week at icsi.org on disruptive innovation, discussing all of the emerging business models which you note health systems should seek. Sign in for your free PHR at www.personalmedicine.com should have a house call to you by next quarter... in the meantime, check out the telemedicine and IM visits for Dr Joseph's practice in Chicago, if you are on the run, it could be just the ticket! Love to have your feedback on the consumer patient side user interface!! Best, Natalie 2 years ago Reply
