Thepartners decided to offer, other than the audit services, value added services likecorporate advisory services to their clients. The first firm in the group, KarvyConsultants Limited was incorporated on 23rd July, 1983. In a very short period, itbecame the largest Registrar and Transfer Agent in India. This is as per the Depositories Act, 1996.However, when youbuy shares you may receive delivery in the demat form as per the option of theseller. REMETRIALISATION: It is the process by which a client can get his electronic holdings convertedinto physical certificates. The client has to submit the rematerialisation request to theDP with whom he has an account. The DP enters the request in its system whichblocks the client’s holdings to that extent automatically. The Issuer / R& T agentthen prints the certificates, dispatches the same to the client and simultaneouslyelectronically confirms the acceptance of the request to NSDL. Thereafter, the client’sblocked balances are debited. PLEDGE:To deposit personal property as security for a personal loan of money. If the loan isnot repaid when due, the personal property pledged shall be forfeit to the lender.
