Skinners Operant Conditioning- reinforcingdesired behavior through stimulus responsepatterns.Albert Banduras Observational Modeling-Acquiring behaviors through observing others.Behavior is reinforced by reaction of elders and/or peers. 4
  • Ivan Pavlov& Classical Conditioning& Classical ConditioningPavlovs research initiallywas focused ondigestion.Dogs were presentedwith food by a scientist ina white lab coat, and inresult would startdrooling. After severalrepetitions of this, thedogs began to drool atthe sight of a white labcoat. Thus, ClassicalConditioning was born. 5
  • Ivan Pavlov& Classical Conditioning After, discovering this phenomenon Pavlov& Classical Conditioning started a new experiment. Pavlov replaced the white lab coats with a bell being rung before the food was presented. Sure enough! The dogs would salivate at just the sound of a bell. This process was called classical conditioning. Its 6 findings were later used

  • How Behaviorism Fits myPhilosophy of Education Behaviorism fits with my philosophy of education because, I want to have tangible evidence that my students are learning. By relying on only observable factors I feel that I can be confident that my students are learning and remembering what I have taught them. 10
