  • 1. Kaiser Permanente, Northern California Caritas Consortium 2013 Caring Advocacy Council Projects Caritas in Action How Caring Science informs and inspires KP caregivers and affirms our commitment to provide our patients and their families exceptional care
  • 2. Caring Advocacy Council Projects Intent to Contribute Statement: The poster will be a collage of various activities and projects sponsored by the KP-Fremont Caring Council from August 2012 through June 2013. The ideas came from individual departments as well as the Council, at large. The focus was on creating a caring healing environment for patients, families, and staff. The group also sponsored team-building activities for staff and made contributions to our surrounding communities. In addition, we incorporated Caring Science principles training for Nursing Students during their clinical orientation. Every project/activity was tied to a Caring Science principle: caring for self, caring for patients, caring for community, and caring for practitioners. Page 2
