CHRISTMAS ROUND-UP It’s been a spectacular season up to now and with the new catalogues’ results, a January Showcase coming up and the new Retail Challenge all to look forward to, it can only get even better. TOYS FOR CHRISTMAS Gold Distributors Ian Slade and Melissa Squires have truly embraced the Kleeneze Christmas spirit and have been working with their local volunteer centre in Rugby to run a ‘Toys for Christmas’ appeal and have raised over £700 for needy children in Warwickshire. “We called upon our customers to help support the good cause and have received many generous donations, enabling us to purchase a selection of toys worth over £700 at cost price from the Kleeneze catalogue, to donate to the worthy campaign. “Christmas can be a difficult time for many families and we wanted to help make it a magical time for those who perhaps aren’t expecting that much for Christmas this year.” “We arrived back from our two weeks holiday in Florida on the Thursday,” explained Bronze Executive Distributors Fay and Andrew Rowe earlier this period. “Feeling very tired and jet lagged we made the decision to make an early start on the Friday (not an easy decision as to stay in bed would have been much nicer!). We put out 395 catalogues and were we glad we did. By Tuesday night, after all the stray ones were pulled in, we had £1842 of orders. I still can’t believe it - the catalogues just get better and better. This earned us £681 and including all catalogue and product delivery time we made over £14 an hour. We have to keep asking ourselves how many people do we know with no stress that earn over £14 an hour.
