THE RESULTS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES
Of course, High Performance Retail Habits is not the only way you can retail, BUT it is one that is proving to be
increasingly effective. EWB received this email from a Distributor who has been in the business for two months.
John Matthews has, solely through personally presenting the catalogue, now reached 10% and just qualified for the
Fast Start Bonus 3.
“When I first started as a Distributor 2 months ago, I discussed alternative retail methods with my Upline and decided to
try doorstep presentation rather than blanket dropping,” explained John.
“Over my first couple of days I visited 152 properties. Of the 75 people I found at home, 24 took catalogues.
Not enough catalogues out I thought. Panicking a bit, I resorted to blanket dropping a couple of roads and got out a
further 59 catalogues.
“On collecting the catalogues, the results amazed me. The 24 catalogues that I had presented, produced orders worth £121.75 (£5 per
catalogue). The 59 blanket drop catalogues generated orders of £34.75 (59p per catalogue). This result may be a bit extreme but having
persisted with doorstep presentation the average is close to £4 per catalogue.
“Yes, personal presentation is more time consuming than blanket dropping, but:
• You are only leaving catalogues with people who have expressed an interest in seeing them.
• By introducing yourself, you establish a relationship from the very start.
• Much less time is spent picking up catalogues.
• Fewer catalogues are lost (in my case, less than 20 in 8 weeks).
• You receive higher orders per catalogue.
“I am now starting to re-visit the areas I covered in early June, adding to my initial customer base by presenting to people who were not at home
at the time. The results are still good (£3 – £4 per catalogue) and bit by bit the customer base is growing.
“You have to decide which distribution method is best for you but my returns per catalogue so far are as good if not better than those
experienced by Kleeneze in their personal presentation trials.
I am definitely going to stick with it!”
Others are finding an unexpectedly great side-effect of presenting the catalogues too! Gold Distributors Sian Murphy and Mark
Jennings didn’t expect to be too surprised by using the HPRH system, but as it turned out it had a great effect on their team…
“As soon as we finished the HPRH training, we were convinced the system would maximise both our
profits and time for the retail side of our business,” said Sian. “We were particularly excited because we
knew it was a way for our new starters to get their business off to a racing start, especially those who had
joined with the basic Starter Kit.
“We knew that if we wanted to teach others to do it, then we had to get out there and do it ourselves,
and so off we went. Yes, it was a bit nerve-racking at first, but the more we did the easier it got, and the
jitters soon subsided.
“We already knew what to expect so we weren’t surprised by the
retail results, or how easy it was to pick the catalogues back up.
But soon something unexpected started to happen - people we
called on were asking about joining the business.
“As a direct result of HPRH our team has grown by two new Distributors in the past few weeks. That’s
what I call double dipping, because we were busy retailing and without doing anything extra, the team
grew. And it doesn’t stop there, because people who join your team because you’ve knocked
on the door are already primed and ready to go out and do HPRH themselves. Obviously,
we still support team members who are blanket dropping, after all that’s how we first
built our business, but we will try to ensure everyone in the team understands the
huge benefits of HPRH before they decide.”
