  • 1. BULLETIN 08.05.09 Issue 18 TAKE TWO: KLEENEZE HITS DUBLIN Once just isn’t enough for our Kleeneze Showcase, which is why it’s heading over to Ireland on Saturday 16 May another helping of training, motivation and support! In January, we had the highest attendance the event has seen in recent years and the Radisson Hotel was buzzing with inspiration and motivation. This summer, we have an incredible line-up of speakers including Bob Webb and Gavin Scott. It’s not only our UK Distributors that are feeling the benefits of the recession, in Ireland the business is hotting up more than ever before – now really is the right time to be in Kleeneze. At the Irish Showcase, we’ll be hearing from two Distributors who were aboard Club Med 2 just a month ago. They’ll be motivating you to gear up to achieve all your dreams this year, so in five months time we can have the biggest Irish attendance in the history of the business at the Autumn Destination 2009! Kleeneze Ireland Summer Showcase takes place on Saturday 16 May at the Radisson SAS Hotel, Dublin Airport. Doors open at 11am for a 12 noon start and tickets are just €5 per Distributor. HISTORY SPEAKS FOR ITSELF This time last year, hundreds of you sizzled in the sunshine in celebration of the huge milestone that was Kleeneze’s 85th held brush that had been purchased from Kleeneze over 65 years ago and went to get it Anniversary. In just that one year, the business has grown even to show me. Even though it had been well stronger with more success stories than ever. used, you could still see the Kleeneze stamp Part of the reason that the business continues to thrive is its history for printed on it. continuing to provide inexpensive, durable products to your Now I know that the Kleeneze products are customers. Indeed, some customers are so impressed with the good quality and last well but I was shocked products; they continue to rave about them – decades later! that an item that old was still going strong. When Senior Distributors June and David With a huge grin on his face he asked me if he Love were delivering a Kleeneze order to could possibly have a replacement, but without their customers, Mr and Mrs. Tremaine in the added extras, as he pointed to the ’string’ Lindfield, West Sussex, they were delighted that he uses to hang it up with and told me when they disappeared inside only to that it was his wife’s’ old knicker elastic. bring back an ‘antique’ Kleeneze product That gave us the best laugh of the day!” to show them. Michelle and Stephen Fox, There was still some Floors & Furniture Wax Polish left in the tin and it Silver Distributors was as good as new! Mrs Tremaine told the couple, she believes it “Recently, my wife Judith visited a customer dates before the Second World War. who showed her a brush which has the “We were collecting our catalogues from an area we had not done Kleeneze logo which she said had been given to before and knocked at one house to ask for the catalogues as they her as a wedding present 50 years ago!” had not been left out for us. An elderly gentleman opened and we Steve and Jude Joyce, Silver Distributors started to chat. He mentioned that he was still using a wooden hand- On track to Blackpool Kleeneze got me back on “Spring is finally here, and for us in the Star Group that means tons and tons of outside team activity. Everyone you see in this picture (excluding the kids!) is on a 90-day-plan to the road “I joined Kleeneze on 21 January this year after I had been unsuccessfully looking for work for 6 months. As I had no transport, I had to do the business on foot and my first goal was to earn Gold – all super-charged at the thought of a enough money to get a car and get back on the road. FREE 5-star holiday (the Autumn Destination). In my first 18 days up to the end of Period 1, I hit the 10% and 13% bonus levels sometimes having to walk at least 20 minutes with a full trolley to where I was dropping catalogues, before I even got to put one through a door. The last few days of Period 1 there was heavy snow which made it very difficult and entertaining, but I still went out with the trusty trolley to pick up my catalogues as I was determined to achieve the bonus. I actually picked up nearly £100 more than I needed to hit 13% bonus making my first cheque at the end of Period 1 over £450. In Period 2 my target was to increase this level of retail which I did. My cheque for Period 2 was over £525 which meant that I was able to achieve my goal to buy a car and I am now back on the road. To help keep everyone motivated and on track I could not have achieved this without we hold lots of team activity and sizzle the help, support and guidance of my sessions. This one was taken at our local car upline Mary Whinfrey who taught me the boot on Sunday where between us we system and guided me through those first handed out thousands of flyers, business few weeks. cards and information packs on this As an added bonus I have lost 1.5 stone since amazing business opportunity - so many my start date and the weight is still coming people we can help!
