PROFILEName: Tyler Latu’ilaD.O.B.: 4th November 1993Place of Residence: Auckland, New ZealandBorn in Wollongong, south of Sydney, Australia and moving toAuckland, New Zealand in 2003 just before his 10th birthday,Tyler is proud to call New Zealand his home and even moreproud to represent New Zealand in Volleyball.Tyler has always been athletic, he grew up playing soccer andparticipated in Athletics (track and field). Introduced toVolleyball in High School, Tyler’s direction changed. His focusbecame, and still is, Volleyball. Motivated and driven, he givesevery spare minute to the game.Tyler has seen many successes and received a number ofprestigious awards due to his determination, commitment andoutstanding talent and athletic ability.Recognised as a remarkable sportsman, Tyler been selected torepresent New Zealand, this year in the South East Asian Men’sVolleyball Championship in Yangon, Myanmar in August 2012.
