7. EVALUATION
During our research we found out the history of Metal EDM/ Electronic Dance Music. We learned that
EDM originated from the 1960’s as electrical instruments to today with software and MIDI keyboards.
We also researched metal origins and found that from the 1960’s to present day that rock changed from
psychedelic and blues rock to extreme metal with the fusion of punk metal also.
Overall we see that EDM and Metal have changed extensive amounts since the 1960’s and that modern
day rock is no longer similar in next to know way as it used to be but is still as popular if not more.
