  • The Hohoe area of Ghana is a region of great poverty, with very little infrastructure to aid economic development. Many children are orphaned, abandoned or neglected and left to fend for themselves in the streets. We attempt to gain guardianship of as many of these children as possible, and provide them with a safe and secure home, healthcare and education, and a chance for a successful and happy life, and am looking for donations .destinykids978@yahoo.com.thank you.

  • Hi i am running the Cambridge half marathon for cancer research and am looking for donations. One of my close friends last year lost her husband suddenly to lung cancer he was only 62, they should of been looking forwards to a happy retirement in 3 years time. She was devastated and will probably never get over the loss of her companion for over 40 years. Please support me in this wonderful charity; in the hope that one day they will find a cure.

How to receive donations on Facebook pages.justgiving.com/causes In summary Your charity, or your corporate partners, can ask for and then process donations on Facebook, including setting up a regular gift via direct debit. It means your supporters have a better experience as they can donate without leaving Facebook. And they can opt-in to ongoing comms from your charity. Every donor is prompted to share their donation with their Facebook friends, helping to increase awareness of your cause and generate donations from their network. They are also prompted to send requests to their friends, encouraging them to pick specific people who they think will have an affinity with your cause.
