Lady Macbeth•In this play Lady Macbeth is one of the most powerful characters .•Unlike her husband she lacks humanity.•Her burning ambitions cause everyone else around hertrouble, chaos, and commonly death.•Her weakness is too carry guilt upon herself for the murders thatshe persuaded her husband to do.•She doesn’t have any more strength to live with the guilt anddespair that she looses her battle to suicide.
King Duncan•King Duncan puts himself as a figurehead of order andorderliness and is the epitome.•He also expresses humanity.•Most importantly he is the representative of God on earth, rulingby divine right.
Banquo •Banquo plays Macbeth’s co-conspirator •He is depicted instead as Macbeth’s rival. •Banquo is a sympathetic figure for several reasons, he is ignorant concerning the murder of the King. •He is also a father whose relationship with his son is clearly an affectionate one.
MacduffMacduff is the archetype of the avenging hero.•He has a good and holy purpose.•He has the most significant roles in the play.•Like Macbeth, Macduff is also shown as a human being.•An unfeeling man.•“I have no words; my voice is in my sword”
Malcolm •Malcolm is the embodiment of all that is good and kingship. •He advances his prospect of God •“By the grace of Grace” •Like his father Malcolm is the representative or order.
