  • 2. Boilermakers<br />When people hear Purdue they think of the 40,000 students that attend the campus every day <br />
  • 3. Where do they go?<br />Most people think that students at Purdue mainly spend time at the Union, libraries, or dorm rooms . . .<br />
  • 4. Center of Attention<br />Most people overlook the very center of campus that entertains, relaxes, and concentrates the boilermakers every day—The Memorial Mall. <br />
  • 5. What is it?<br />The Memorial Mall is a park filled with grass, trees, and convenient sidewalks. You will notice John Purdue’s tombstone, a fountain, and the hello walkway.<br />
  • 6. At the Memorial Mall, students like to . . .<br />
  • 7. Study.<br />
  • 8. Entertain.<br />
  • 9. Play.<br />
  • 10. Gather.<br />
  • 11. Pass by.<br />
  • 12. Relax.<br />
  • 13. Ride a bike.<br />
  • 14. Follow Tradition.<br />Many Students always greet the people they pass on the Hello Walkway. Next time you pass a person at the Memorial Mall—don’t forget to say a friendly hello or a sweet good-bye.<br />
