  • PLACE PREPOSITIONS Under: bajo, debajo Over: sobre, por encima Between: entre, en medio Behind: tras, detrás Next to: al lado, junto a… Opposite: en el lado opuesto In front of: enfrente (delante)
  • PLACE PREPOSITIONS ON: Indica que algo está sobre alguna superficie (horizontal o vertical): On the wall, on the table… Para cosas pequeñas en grandes superficies: on the map, a fly on the window… En transporte público: on the bus, on the train… OJO: IN a taxi
  • PLACE PREPOSITIONS IN: Indica que el objeto está en el interior o rodeado por algo: In the country, in the box… Cuando hablamos de edificios: The roof in the house is damaged. Para coches: in the car.
  • PLACE PREPOSITIONS AT: Se suele utilizar para señalar lugares puntuales, aunque tiene otros usos. En lugares donde estamos ‘al lado’: at the traffic lights, at the bus stop… En ‘eventos’: at a concert, at a party… En edificios donde se celebran ‘eventos’: at the theatre, at the cinema… En ‘casa de alguien’: at Susan’s (house)…
