What Have You Learnt From Your Audience Feedback?
I received a variety of audience feedback, mainly through user generated comments on
the social networking sites Facebook and YouTube. By creating a Facebook event, titled
Media Evaluation; on this event we featured a questionnaire. The purpose of this was to
collect quick quantitative audience feedback.
These results to a certain extent were better than those from YouTube as personal da
ta such a gender and age was revealed and this wasn't available on YouTube. The
ideology of collecting audience feedback from YouTube is that we can receive a sample of
qualitative results. This balance of feedback was extremely significant as I could clearly
examine where we succeded and where the was room for improvement. For example
many spectators enjoyed the range of camera angles, especially the close ups as they
evoked emotion; however viewer felts there could've been more shots.

What Have You Learnt From Your Audience Feedback?
Overall, from analysing the comments, I have learnt that the media text is successful in
abiding to the codes and conventions of a real text. Through the range of locations, lip
syncing, close ups, narrative structure and visual performance - audiences have agreed
that it works in terms of genre .
