  • 4. ABITUS In the emergency room where time is measured in heartbeats and heartbeats are all that separate life from death. When seconds count, and the price of failure is too high... Even the best professionals need all the help you can provide so make sure they have Abitus on hand, with all the tools they need whatever the job. Concept Designer Design Engineer Design, development and pilot production. Real project at I-MAS for TediselMedical. Total Budget 300.000€
  • 5. Has been paid special attention to combination of shapes and materials reaching a remarkable aesthetic integration of the different parts that form this ceiling suspended unit. Within the suspension pipes, medical gases and electrical cables are housed in separate isolated compartments which are vertically divided by an internal division. The equipment is distributed between the horizontal unit, trolleys and columns. It is painted in grey colour making a nice contrast with the white standard colour of the horizontal unit. If desired, dimmable ballast may be equipped in order to adjust lighting level.
  • 6. The ceiling suspended unit can be equipped with movable trolleys that rotate 360o and move along the proÀle with a limitation in order not to interfere with the bed. As braking system for rotation and translation movement, it is used a mechani- cal one with manual activation. Monitoring and infusion trolleys can be equipped with accessories such as technical rails, shelves, drawers, vertical poles, infusion stands and others. All this equipment turn the unit versatile for the different conÀgurations required depending of the unit needs.
  • 7. ICARUS The design and engineer team have developed the most technological bed head unit of TediselMedical range. Special design and singular finishing possibilities makes this product a daring and unique choice. Concept Designer Design Engineer Design, development and pilot production. Real project at I-MAS for TediselMedical. Total Budget 100.000€
  • 8. One aluminium profile with compartments for direct light and mechanisms, medical gases and indirect light.Patient identification card holder and night light (LED).Nurse call light (LED).ICARUS is suitable for T5 fluorescent lamps and LED lighting modules. Direct light diffuser has a special internal structure to redirect light to the patient. The unit is closed with magnetic rounded shape end covers and security screws. Can be personalized using several materials (such as Corian, HPL or poly- carbonate) to adapt its design to different environments. It can be installed either horizontal or vertically and there is a preinstallation support for ease of installation.
  • 9. As an example of flexibility and open minded philosophy, has been developed for TediselMedical a bed head unit in cooperation with an architectural office to cover the needs for a special project. Minimalistic design with squared shape is not against functionality and ease of maintenance. Produced with 2 extruded aluminium profiles divided in 3 compartments for electrical mechanisms and direct lighting, medical gases and indirect lighting. Tilting cover to access the unit has been designed for aesthetical purposes and to access electrical and gases compartments. Architectural integration thanks to hidden position of the electrical mechanisms in the lower part of the unit. It is possible to install any medical gas standard and/or brand.
  • 10. Two innovative medical devices on minimally invasive treatments for patients with cardiovascular diseases. iChrom is the Inert Cobalt Chromium coronary stent. Design, architecture and profile optimized. Treated with innovative ionic implantation technology that ensures low restenosis. Fenix is the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation in IHT. A heart valve inside the old tight valve using a balloon catheter. The valve is made up of a metal frame (stent) and the outer lining (pericardium) of a cow’s heart. My role, Project Lead of Stents Department inside Biotech Dept. Manage, design, develop, and manufacturing all mechanics devices. Leading a team of eight people. R&D Preject Lead Design & Engineering Two devices, from concept to manufacturing. Real project at IHT for Iberhospitex. Total Budget 2.300.000€
  • 11. Variety of products for Peripherical cardiovascular Division. Designing a new Surgical Scissors For sutures, a hand-held stent delivery system for coronary devices or a Tubing programmer for sirgury tasks.
  • 12. A transcatheter valve is compressed onto a balloon mounted on a catheter, inserted between the ribs, threaded through the apex of the heart and deployed securely into place directly over the patient’s diseased aortic valve. The transapical approach provides an option for patients whose arterial anatomy will not accommodate other transcatheter approaches. The transapical and transfemoral approaches provide patient care alternatives.
  • 13. Trans-catheter aortic valve implantation replaces your existing valve with a new tissue valve, thereby improving how your heart works without having open heart surgery. TAVI involves placing an artificial valve into your heart. During the procedure, a thin tube, the catheter, is introduced through a small cut either at the top of the leg or on the left hand-side of the chest. The TAVI valve sits within a small metal cage (also known as a stent) and is crimped onto the end of the catheter.
