The text is short and simple with an image accompanying it to add more of a tease to the reader so that they will want to read on and therefore buy the magazine.
    • MAIN SELL LINE
The main sell line is ‘LORD OF THE RINGS’ this is to catch the readers eye and reinforce the movie genre that the magazine is trying to promote. The writing is in red to match the same colour of the masthead so that it stands out against the rest of the cover lines. This also makes the reader want to find out more about what the magazine is trying to promote.
    • SMALLER IMAGES
The smaller images are just there to tease the reader they usually go alongside some writing; which is correct in this case. The main image of this magazine
Is of the main actress in sex in the
City which makes it easy for the
Reader to see what movie the
      Magazine is promoting. The pose
that the actress is pulling is also a
      pose that insinuates her personality
in the movie and therefore make it
more real for the reader that it is
‘Carrie’ of Sex in the City on the front cover not Sarah Jessica Parker (the actress).
    • MASTHEAD
      The masthead in this
magazine changes its colour to match what kind of
movie it is promoting. However the font of the
Masthead stays the same. This is to keep the continuity though each issue of the magazines so that it is made easier for the reader to find the magazine that they are looking for. The main image is infront of the magazine and therefore suggesting that the image important.

Colour of the mast head; this is to keep the
continuity throughout the magazine and it also
Makes the magazine look more professional.
The font is bold and easy to read for the reader.
Some of the important points of the cover lines
are in red, this is so that they stand out and catch
the readers eye immediately and they will want
to read on into the magazine as it is teasing the
reader by only giving them a little bit of
      information.
    • SMALLER IMAGES
The smaller images are there to tease
the reader as they are normally with some other text which suggests that it is from a story within the magazine and therefore makes the reader want to read on though the magazine. This image is of a woman’s head with some writing underneath which is suggesting a poster of another movie.
    • BARCODE
The barcode is there to add realism to the magazine and is there so that the magazine can be bought.
