What are these charges? What are the concerns? What are basis for the charges that leading newspapers have acted unethically and possibly illegally?

In the 21st century newspapers as we know them now face a ‘sustainailbility’ issue.What are these issue? How did they come about? What is ‘driving’ these sustainability issue? What is the future of newspapers in the 21 st century?
