    • The Jesuit Relations
      Jonah Price
    • What are “The Jesuit Relations”
      The Jesuit Relations were French, Latin, and Italian documents from the Jesuit missionaries their elders to updating them on progress of conversions several Native American tribes
      Although the Jesuit didn’t show signs of success until the 1640s, these documents paint a great picture of the French and Natives relations.
    • Jesuit Missionaries
      Many missionary priests were finically well off due to their work in the Jesuit colleges of France, and were active in Latin America, France, as well as in Canada.
    • “I Discovered America”
      Often French fishermen and explorers would meet Native Americans, and this was before the Jesuit arrived.
    • Father Paul le Jeana
      Father Paul le Jeana was so in awe of the natives he felt the need to publish the first book of Jesuit Relation
      In this book we learned form Jeane that Natives had two main gods, one who shaped the, and one who did the up keep.
      Also we can see how the natives daily lives, culture, and behavior.
