Canon ET-83II Lens Hood for Canon
EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM Lens
Lens Hood
Lens hoods are primarily designed to prevent unwanted stray light from
entering by extending and shading the end of the lens, ensuring no
problems with vignetting or motor functions. Additionally, since the end of
the lens is extended, you also get the added benefit of some extra
protection from accidental impact. Lens hoods match the specific focal
length of the lens it was designed for. This lens hood fits the following
Canon lens:
EF 70 to 200mm f2.8L USM
Personal Review: Canon ET-83II Lens Hood for Canon EF
70-200mm f/2.8L USM Lens
I guess it's nice to have an extra one. It would have been nice if the ad for
the lens had said one was included. It's possible that maybe after
installing my wife's under cabinet TV with baling wire because the nuts
broke loose from the cabinet top and requiring a number of beers to
compose myself and be able to ignore her nibs, I misread the ad. The lens
also came with a case which I also did not notice in the ad and ordered
separately. Anyone one want to buy a lens hood, case and pair of 34mm
filters, none of which I need for any of my my lens'. They're going for
25%off--what a deal.
