I bought this for a slim desktop which, unfortunately, can only use certain
cards. This one came with the wider bracket shown already attached, but
includes two slim brackets--you need to use both and use two slots in the
computer. In my case it eliminates using a 3x PCI slot, but I wasn't using it
anyway. The instructions are good for installing the card and getting it up
and running, but there are no instructions for changing the bracket, but it is
pretty straight-forward.
The card works well, improved the speed of my computer (which had
integrated graphics), and is a good buy. Not the best out there but good
for the price. The box says it is 2x better performance than the
comparable 8 series 8400 GS.
