Through my readings of local happenings in the Palm Beach area, I have concluded that money is one 
of the largest problems facing the schools here. I am inclined to believe that with the way the economy 
is right now that this is a problem throughout the country as well. Back to Palm Beach county Florida, 
layoffs and dropped programs seem to be eminent because state monies are drying up. Broward County 
has budget cuts that are forcing them to think of a 4-day school week. This seems to be the theme 
around Florida whether it is k-12 or colleges they are all hurting for funding to keep schools going. 
Addressing this is a difficult task as one persons voice can be heard, I think we need a collective choir 
of voices to shout out to the government to help find funding or restructure the way finances are being 
allotted. Personally from a teacher to be standpoint I would wholesale and bulk shop for my classroom 
and students whenever the need should arise
