John Osman has worked with me over the last seven plus years. I brought him in as a
Financial Manager in our rapidly growing International Organization. He has taken on
every task asked of him in a professional and timely manner – with minimal executive
supervision.
He has been very valuable to me, in that he took significant burden off my plate from day
one.
John was completely responsibly for the risk management programs within the Group. He
managed the external audit team and tax preparers to insure that these tasks were done in a
timely fashion – and in accordance with our banking and investor requirements.
In addition, John was responsible for our Group accounting consolidation. We have an
international organization consisting of ten entities – including several overseas units
operating in foreign currencies.
John jumped in and helped us set up our business unit in South Africa. This was a very
difficult task and required an enormous amount of effort and time away from home. He did
an excellent job getting this unit up and running. This is now one of our most successful
operations.
John was a very valuable part of a team that has been through multiple due diligence
exercises. We sold the Group to a Private Equity firm in Nov. 2010 and then to another
Private Equity firm in Aug. 2014. John’s assistance during these processes was invaluable.
I highly recommend John for his next professional role. Any business needing a hard-
working, dedicated, team player, with a financial skill set and significant experience would
not need to look beyond John Osman.
