  • 5. ADDING A CUSTOM FRONT PAGE TO A WORDPRESS BLOG • • • • • • • • • • Log-in to your blog dashboard Create a new page o Pages are static content which don't appear like posts. Give it the headline "New front page" Add some text Publish the page Go to the Settings > Reading section Check the A static page (select below) item fromFront page displays Set the Front Page option to New front page Scroll down and click Save Changes Look at the blog
  • 6. Creating posts     Create a post, populate it…. Publish it Find the URLs in your Posts list Head back to your front page, and use these link to direct readers from your front page intro, to the content itself.
