FAA/NASA/Industry Wake Vortex Safety Task Force ( 1994-1996) International effort to mitigate wake vortex accidents while enhancing air traffic flow.
Resulted in the FAA Wake Turbulence Training Aid/Video.
RTCA Special Committee 202 (2001-2003) Examining the phenomenon of Portable Electronic Devices (PED) in air carrier cabins, including cellular telephones, wireless PDAs and IEEE 802.11n/Bluetooth wireless networks. Recommends regulatory and policy guidance to the FAA.
