Case 1: Scenario description … <ul><li>Manufacturing of pharmaceutical products. </li></ul><ul><li>Handling pharmaceutical active ingredients in powder form (discharge of mixer into kegs or IBC, and check-weighing) </li></ul><ul><li>Activities include Mixing, Blending, Filling kegs and IBCs, Tablet compression, and Film coating. Some process steps were automated and carried out inside closed equipment, with others requiring manual intervention. </li></ul><ul><li>LEV and other engineering controls, plus PPE were used depending on the activity </li></ul>
