  • The Bible is the Word of God.
  • The Bible is inspired.
    • It is “God-breathed.”
    • It is not partially inspired.
    • It is totally inspired.
  • F powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” “ or the word of God is quick, and (Hebrews 4:12).
  • The Bible is infallible. It never fails.
  • The Bible is inerrant. It is without mistakes.
  • The Bible can be trusted.
  • All doctrine (teachings, beliefs) should be based on, and in harmony with, God’s Word.
  • Our attitude toward the Bible should be: If God says it, I believe it, and I will obey it.
  • “ This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” (Joshua 1:8).
  • The Bible outlasts any other book.
