    • Summary of Media CoverageThe Beijing Luxury Show was clearly the best place for Morgan to have its China unveiling. The recentBeijing Auto Show would have drowned out any major coverage of Morgan’s entry into the Chinesemarket, but the ‘local’ size of the Luxury Show and its convenient inner city location meant that manyjournalists were eager to attend the event.Some 20 media were expected to attend, but in the event we distributed 75 media kits over the 2 days ofthe event to both Chinese and international media. Coverage was seen in China, Malaysia, UK, India, ItalyUSA, Ireland and New Zealand.The Morgan stand was effectively the star of the show; only Morgan had invested time and effort inengaging media where as other attendees had largely set up shop with a “We’re here” attitude, but littleinvestment in pushing their products. Despite other luxury car manufacturers being directly opposite toMorgan, Morgan was the main star.The Chinese media were very receptive to Morgan with several key national players covering the Morganlaunch. Autohome, People’s Daily and China Daily brought great coverage to the Chinese market. On theinternational level many reports were focusing on luxury consumers in China, this further emphasizesMorgan’s international appeal.
