  • 1. Tie Dye Experiment!!!<br />By Jessica Skelly<br />
  • 2. To Begin....<br /> I did an experiment on Tie Dying and got a perfect ending result. Through this slide I will show you briefly the steps I used. Feel free to try an experiment of your own, it is great fun!<br /> <br />
  • 3. Firstly I collected the items required<br />
  • 4. Then Planned The Pattern<br />Then applied the rubber bands as planned!<br />
  • 5. Then filled the washing machine with hot water<br />We added Dye, the water turned dark purple!<br />
  • 6. .... Then the material and salt<br />&lt;= Fabric ( Pink )<br />The Saxa salt <br />
  • 7. We let it soak for just over an hour. (The longer the better the effect and colour)<br />Then let the water clean out. Luckily the machine wasn&apos;t stained purple!<br />
  • 8. We washed it a few times until the water ran clear! The bands were then taken off and it was rinsed once more.<br />
  • 9. This is what it then looked like! <br />
  • 10. The new tie dyed fabric sarong was hung out and dried over night.<br />By morning the effect was perfect!<br />
