  • 1. 3. What kind of media institution might distribute your music magazine and why? I think that my magazine could fit in to the Emap institution as they have a Government, retail, environment, fashion and media section but no music section so I think there could be a gap in the institution for my magazine to fit in well and add to the range of subjects that theinstitution covers. However I also think my magazine could fit into Bauer Media institution as they make, Mojo, Q, Kerrang! and Smash Hits! These are all well-known music magazines and cover a range of different genres however they do not make a magazine, which covers the urban genre, which is the genre, which my magazine is. I think this could be successful as their other music magazines are good quality therefore current readers of the other magazines may be drawn to a new magazine from the same institution, which they know are a dependent institution.
