AGUILA: Latinos inspired
to lead In the community.
“AGUILA’s mission is to inspire and empower Latino professionals with culturally relevant leadership skills, which can be used within their own organizations and their greater communities.
AGUILA was developed to fill a recognized gap in Latino professionals volunteering with nonprofit organizations, which serve the Latino community. As more Latinos move into professional and executive positions, AGUILA will help build a stronger base of local leadership and increase volunteerism within the community. Each graduate will make a commitment to volunteer for an area nonprofit of his or her own choosing.”
I appreciate your dedication and you all have given me the light to carry into a dark room.
I was “voluntold” for this program—the best thing that could have happened to me!
“The AGUILA program is a refreshing new look at the Latino perspective.
