    • Testosterone Replacement Therapy Why should you bother for this?
    • What is Testosterone? Testosterone is the primary androgenic hormone which is responsible for normal growth and development of male sex organs and maintenance of secondary sex characteristics
    • What Causes Testosterone Deficiency? When the testes fail to produce normal levels of testosterone (Male: 300 -1,000 ng/dL) hypogonadism results. Primary Hypogonadism Secondary Hypogonadism Due to testicular failure i.e. when testosterone levels are low and pituitary gonadotropins are elevated When there is inadequate secretion of pituitary gonadotropins, LH and FSH, to stimulate testosterone production in the testes.
    • Proper Diagnosis is Important A medical history, physical exam, and the proper laboratory evaluation are necessary with regards to –  Abnormalities at birth  Current status of sexual function  Sexual characteristics, such as beard growth, muscular strength, and energy level

Due to it's potential for hepatotoxicity, these formulations are not recommended for clinical use.
