    Geometric – circles, squares, rectangles and triangles. We see them in architecture.
    Organic – leaf, seashells, flowers. We see them in nature and with characteristics that are free flowing, informal and irregular.
    Positive shapes – in drawing or painting positive shapes are the solid mass.
