Was founded by city of Toronto (1968) in downtown
Toronto
Committed to providing safe shelter with quality
support services
As well as committed to provide community
outreaches to clients
It is one of the largest shelter systems for people in
need to stay, no matter if it is a two-parent or single
parent family with children, couples and pregnant
women with a partner

Counselling

through family residence.
7. Children Support
Provide service form 0-18 years-old
Full-day care from Monday to Friday 7:00 am- 6:00
pm
Part-time care: 2 times a week and three hours a
day.
Summer time form Monday to Friday 10:00 am to
6:00 pm
8. Financial Support
7.5 dollars per person a day to those people
who didn’t apply for Ontario work and have
no other incomes.
Money can be used towards whatever

Large Room: 3 Double, 2 Bulk bed, Crib (at least
10 people)
