  2. 2. Introduction<br />Welcome to the land of the dinosaurs. In this adventure, you and your partner are about to become famous paleontologists. You will discover a new type of dinosaur. You will have to present your discovery to the world.<br />
  3. 3. Your Task<br />As a paleontologist your assignment is to:<br />Research different types of dinosaurs from the three periods of The Mesozoic Era. <br />Detail how various dinosaurs looked and acted. <br />Include where and when they lived.<br />Group dinosaurs by their likenesses and differences.<br />Once you have a good understanding of what dinosaurs were all about, create your own dinosaur. <br />Your final task will be to present your discovery to the world.<br />

As a palentologist:<br />You and your partner must:<br />Name your newly discovered dinosaur<br />Provide a picture of the fossil<br />Provide a likeness of how the dinosaur looked when it was alive<br />Describe the characteristics of the dinosaur including what it ate, where it lived, when it lived, and what other creatures existed during the same period<br />You must also come to a conclusion as to why you believe your dinosaur became extinct<br />Use evidence from your research on dinosaurs to support your discovery<br />
