  • 3. ON TUESDAY JANUARY 12, 2010 A 7.0 MAGNITUDE EARTHQUAKE HIT HAITI AT 4:53 PM
  • 4. NO ONE EXPECTED IT
  • 5. NOT EVEN PRESIDENT RENE PREVAL WHO’S HOME HAS ALSO BEEN DESTROYED
  • 6. AND SO IS THE PRESIDENTIAL PALACE
  • 7. THAT TUESDAY AFTERNOON OUR BEAUTIFUL HAITI TURNED INTO THIS IN ABOUT 37 SECONDS
  • 8. HAVING PEOPLE FIGHTING FOR THEIR LIVES
  • 9. SOME OF THEM WERE NOT SURE OR CONFUSED ABOUT WHAT WAS GOING ON
  • 10. AT THAT POINT THOSE WITH THE CHRISTIAN FAITH COULD ONLY PRAY
  • 11. NO QUESTION A PRAYER WOULD BE THE ANSWER
  • 12. WHY US WHY HAITI THIS MAN IS WONDERING
  • 13. SOME OF THEM COULDN’T EVEN STAND UP ON THEIR OWN
  • 14. OTHERS HAD TO BE PULLED OUT OF THE RUBBLE
  • 15. A REALITY BUT NOT A PRETTY PICTURE
  • 16. A POLICEMAN SCARED OR MAY BE FRUSTRATEDHIS FIRST TIME DEALING WITH A SITUATION AS SUCH
  • 17. A YOUNG GIRL IN DESPERATE NEED OF MEDICAL HELP
  • 18. A YOUNG BOY BADLY INJURED
  • 19. SURVIVED THE CATASTROPHE BUT SCARED AND CRYING FOR HELP
  • 20. ON THE STREETS WITHOUT A HOME TO GO TO
  • 21. NOW WHAT? SHE’S WONDERING
  • 22. THE HOUSE IS DOWN; CAN ONLY SIT ON THE DEBRIS
  • 23. FIRE ADDED TO THE MISERY
  • 24. LA CATHEDRALE DE PORT-AU-PRINCEONE THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS CHURCHES IN HAITI IS BURNED DOWN
  • 25. AND THE DAMAGE GOES ON
  • 26. AND ON
  • 27. AND ON
  • 28. AND ONAND ON
  • 29. NOW A BIGGER PROBLEMDEAD BODIES ON THE STREETS
  • 30. OF COURSE THE SMELL IS DISTURBING AND NOT HEALTHY EITHER
  • 31. THOSE WHO ARE NOT DEAD ARE SUFFERING WITH NO HOPE WHEN THEY WILL GET MEDICAL ASSISTANCEHELP PLEASE
  • 32. RESCUE TEAMS FROM THE U.S. AND ALL OVER THE WORLD HAVE ANSWERED THE CALL
  • 33. ANOTHER PROBLEM NO INFRASTRUCTURE A DEAD AIRPORT WITH NO ELECTRICITYNO AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL
  • 34. AT THIS POINT THE RESCUE TEAMS AREN’T TOO SURE HOW TO GET TO THOSE WHO REALLY NEED HELP OR ARE STILL TRAPPED UNDER THE RUBBLES
  • 35. AT LEAST WE ARE NOT ALONE
  • 36. STILL, DEAD BODIES WITH NO IDENTITY ARE BEING DUMPED EVERYWHERE
  • 37. A PICKUP TRUCK FULL OF PEOPLE SOME ARE INJURED
  • 38. KUDOS… A YOUNG MAN HELPING OUTAS A NATION WE MUST LEARN TO HELP EACH OTHER IN ALL SITUATIONS
