  • 5. TWITTER – WHAT IS IT? Twitter can be called the Newsroom of Social Media. Twitter is a social media information network and microblogging service that allows users to “tweet” messages-based posts of up to 140 characters. Twitter’s mission is to create “a real-time information network that connects you to the latest stories, ideas, opinions and news about what you find interesting.” (twitter.com)
  • 6. WHAT IS TWITTER? Twitter can be overwhelming but if you think the stream of information as a river you can jump in and out of it makes the overflow of information more manageable.

  • 8. WHAT IS A TWEET? Tweet is a short burst of information that share news or content. The limit is 140 characters so you have to be creative and brief in your messages.
