    • 1. What is Wordpress?
      • WordPress is a state-of-the-art semantic personal publishing platform with a focus on aesthetics, web standards, and usability. What a mouthful. WordPress is both free and priceless at the same time.
      • More simply, WordPress is what you use when you want to work with your blogging software, not fight it.
    • 2. What do you need?
      • All you need to publish is an account
      • Ask the blog responsible or system administrator to create an account for you
      • You’ll get a login name and password
    • 3. Log into the Wordpress blog
      • On the blog, look for login link
      • Click on it
      • On the login page, fill out your username and password

      • If you can’t find a login link, just type wp-login.php behind the domain name in your browser
      • http://www.yourblog.com/wp-login.php
    • 4. Your first peak at Wordpress
      • This is an example of a starting page in the Wordpress backend

      • The title : this is your post title. Choose a catchy and clear title.

      • Choose one or more appropriate categories
      • If none available, create a new one

      • Add a good title (will be used as alt)

      • Link to: choose the way you want your picture to behave (as a link to the file, as a link to a page with only the picture or no link at all)
      • Click “ Send to editor ”

    • 11. Using the “more” option
      • Possibility to only show introduction on home page followed by “ read the rest of this entry ” or “ read more ”
      • Click “ more ” button while pointer at desired position in editor

      • Select the words / picture you want to link
      • Click link button
      • Add link URL
      • Click insert
      • To remove link click remove link button
