  • 1. AS Photography Experimental Project DEADLINE: Friday 31st January 2014 Name of Student : ___________________ Task 1. Front page Teacher : Jaskirt Boora Block: Details • Include different artist examples of different styles of experimental photography – what they are and how to produce them 2. Experimentation You must demonstrate: • 2-4 Photoshop techniques (before and after of images), this can include: layering of images, collaging, HDR, colour isolation • 3. Planning for final outcomes 2- 4 tactile experimentation on prints, this can include: burning, scratching, folding, photo sculptures, painting on prints, sewing on prints, photo sculptures Include a short contextual reference/artist comparison if applicable for each experiment. • Mind map of your ideas for your final theme. Need to include an explanation of what you are doing and why. • NEW SHOOT - contact sheets annotated • Artist Comparison: Compare 2 images you have experimented with alongside 2 images of your main photographer’s work and show evidence of inspiration and similarities in composition, techniques and concept 4. Artist Research • 2 image’s analysed in detail on your chosen photographer this must be at least 500 words and should connect to your chosen experimentation technique. 5. Final Outcomes • • • Artist statement 2-4 images. Final outcomes MUST be printed and mounted outside of your sketchbook. 6. Evaluation of project • Evaluate the experimental project as a whole. Done
