  1. 1. Create a Hand-y Food Chart 1. Trace around the child's hand in the middle of a sheet of white paper. 2. Write the food groups on each finger and top of the hand. 3. Have the children color each finger and upper hand according to the food pyramid colors for each food group.       Thumb = Fruit Group = Red Pointer Finger = Vegetable Group = Green Middle Finger = Meat, Fish, Beans, Nuts Group = Purple Ring Finger = Milk & Dairy Group = Blue Pinkie Finger = Fats & Oils Group = Yellow Top of Hand = Grains Group = Orange Crea en tu una mano un Gráfico de la Alimentación 1. Trace el contorno de la mano del niño en el medio de una hoja de papel blanco. 2. Escriba los grupos de alimentos en cada dedo y la parte superior de la mano. 3. Pida a los niños colorear cada dedo y la mano superior de acuerdo a los colores de la pirámide alimenticia para cada grupo de alimentos.       Dedo pulgar = Grupo de frutas = Rojo Dedo índice = Grupo de vegetales = Verde Dedo corazón = Grupo de carne, pescado, frijoles, nueces Grupo = Purple Dedo anular = Leche y productos lácteos = Azul Dedo meñique = Grasas y Aceites Grupo = Amarillo Inicio de la mano = Grupo de Granos = Naranja
