      You are going to learn so much about
      Cheetahsthat you’ll be a Cheetah Expert

    • Cheetahs are carnivores which means they eat other animals for food
      What Cheetahs Eat
      • Cheetahs usually prey on animals that are under 88 pounds
      • Fun Fact: The Cheetahs favorite food is mostly the Springbok, Impala, Thomson’s Gazelle and Grant’s Gazelle
      • When Cheetahs hunt in packs they often find Adult Zebras and Adult Wildebeests
      • When Cheetahs hunt alone they often take out Baby Zebras and Baby Wildebeests
      • Fun Fact: Cheetahs have success of 50% which means that half of their hunts are successful

      Cheetahs are able to go 70 miles for 20 seconds

      The two places Cheetahs most likely live are Africa and Asia….. Oh and also they are at the Zoo

      The Habitat Cheetahs prefer to live in are habitats with medium grass, small hills, trees and bushes
      Cheetahs also live in a wide variety of habitats

      • An Adult Cheetah has Yellow or Tan Fur and a Cheetah has solid black round or oval spots
      • The spots cover nearly the body
      • The head is small and eyes are high on the Cheetah’s head
      • They have stripes at the end of their tail
      • Around the Cheetahs eyes are something called “ remember tears ” they are black markings around Cheetahs eyes.
      • Cheetahs have white stomachs
      • A Cheetah’s weight range is in between 80 - 140 pounds
      • A Cheetahs tongue is rougher than san paper
      • Fun Fact : the “ Remember Tears” protect the Cheetahs eyes from the “ Glare of the Sun”.
      • Cheetahs are around 32 inches tall and from head to toe, a Cheetah can be from 76 to about 88 inches long

      • There are five different types of Cheetahs
      • The first one is the AcinonyxJubatusJubatusis from Southern Africa
      • The second one is Hecki is from West Africa
      • The third one is Raineyii is from East Africa
      • The forth one is the Soemmeringii is from Central Asia ( probably extinct )
      • And the fifth one is the √enaticus is from Southwest Asia and India ( today only
      in Iran )
      • A King Cheetah is a the same as any cheetah except that its coat pattern is rare

      Cheetahs use their whiskers to help it feel

      • When the baby cub becomes 15 months its becomes the size of an
      adult
      • Baby Cubs start eating meat at 3 weeks old
      • Cubs are born blind, helpless and unable to crawl

      • The first the Lions predator is the Lions ( 33% )
      • The second predator is the Hyenas ( 42% )
      • The third predator is the Leopards ( 8% )
      • The forth is stray dogs ( 17% )
      • The fifth is bald eagles ( 30% )
      • The last predator is a man ( 20% )
    • Cheetahs In Action Of Making Prints
      • A Cheetahs track has 3 toe pads and 1 big 1 at the bottom
      • Cheetahs paw prints almost look like cat paw prints
      • You can find Cheetahs paw prints in open plains
      • You will often find these foot prints in open savannahs
