    • I liked this article and how it talked about the fact that podcasting was such a new up and coming technology. Stager talked about how podcasting would allow students and teachers to be heard around the world and I think this is something that could get a student excited about their education. By being able to be heard around the world, a student can get feedback on their ideas and work from various individuals and not just their classmates.

    • This article also talks about how podcasting is more likely to occur at the high school and grade school level versus the college level.
    • It gives examples of how students might use podcasting as a means for a class project or reproducing a school newspaper.
    • One positive example of podcasting discussed in this article, is how podcasting can help those that are not only visually impaired, but those who have trouble grasping material they only hear once. If a teacher were to produce a podcast of their class lecture, students could revisit the lecture and lesson as many times as they choose.

    • I enjoyed this article because it discussed how podcasting can have a positive effect on those who have learning disabilities. This is a great source of technology to have available in the classroom so that all students can learn on a even playing field. I also like how the article talked about how students could listen to lectures over and over again through a podcast. This would have really helped me in high school, especially in college.

    • This article also explains how easy making and utilizing a podcast can be. Thacker describes it as the equivalent of an e-mail in the sense that it is convenient for the creator and convenient for the receiver. The reason Thacker says that podcasting is so efficient is because podcasts can be played, paused, and replayed at any time.
    • A examples lesson listed was to have student complete a assignment based on material they learned via listening to a podcast. This allows students to work at their own pace and take in more information.

    • I actually enjoyed this article the most out of all of the other because it made podcasting as a technology very appealing. It made me believe that podcasting was actually not that difficult to do and that maybe it is something I should consider using in my own classroom. I like the idea of students being able to listen to material and replay it at their own pace. I believe this would allow students to take in information more efficiently.

  • Conclusion
    • Podcasting is technology that came about in 2000. Since then it has slowly evolved into a useful resource that can be utilized in the classroom. Along with its many benefits for students, it is also an effective resource for teachers who want their students to get the most out of their teaching. Podcasting makes learning fun and easy for students who are more into the advances in technology. I plan on using podcasting in my classroom as a means of helping my students better understand my lessons and material.
