  • If you know you should save for retirement, but, like many people, you have little time or interest in building and monitoring your own retirement portfolio, then you may want to consider the ProManage PROgram TM --the effortless, automatic way to invest. This [optional] service offered by your retirement plan is for you if you’re too busy with work, family and friends to manage your retirement account. With the ProManage PROgram , you can live your life, while investment professionals manage your retirement portfolio. There is no minimum balance to participate in the ProManage PROgram .
  • The ProManage PROgram uses your plan’s funding options and its own asset allocation models to develop a personalized asset allocation portfolio for you. ProManage takes into account your age, account balances, the present value of your anticipated Social Security benefit and the present value of your accrued defined benefit pension in[plan sponsor defined benefit plan name]. (ProManage does not take into account other retirement income sources, such as your spouse’s assets or your assets held outside of the plan.) Each year, your asset allocation will be recalculated and automatically adjusted for any changes in those factors I mentioned above. Your account also will be automatically rebalanced at least annually. With ProManage, you receive professional money management for a minimal cost. The annual fee is 32 basis points on all assets in the ProManage PROgram . This fee is prorated and deducted monthly from your account. For example, if your account is $10,000, your fee will not be more than $2.67 per month. [To enroll, simply elect the ProManage option on your enrollment form. OR You will automatically be enrolled in ProManage, unless you elect not to on the enrollment form.]
  • No single financial concept or method is right for everyone. If you initially participate in the ProManage PROgram™ but subsequently decide that you would prefer to make your own investment decisions, you can elect out of the PROgram™ on any day by logging into www.mlr.metlife.com or obtain a form by calling the MetLife Plan Service Center at 1-800-543-2520 or download the form from www.mlr.metlife.com . Should you change your mind, you can elect to return to the ProManage PROgram™ by logging into www.mlr.metlife.com , or by calling the MetLife Plan Service Center. You can elect to come back into the program once every quarter (on the first day of the following quarter). MetLife must receive your election at least five business days before the end of one quarter to be effective for the next quarter.
  • Turn in your Salary Reduction Form to your payroll office or Congregation Treasurer Review your CRSP enrollment book and complete your enrollment online before January 1, 2006 at www.mlr.metlife.com

Funding Choices Morningstar Associates, LLC believes that the list shows the approximate risk relationships among the asset classes for the funding options from the most conservative to the most aggressive. Within each asset class funding options are listed in alphabetical order. The ranking of asset classes is based on an analysis by Morningstar Associates, LLC. In determining the ranking, Morningstar Associates, LLC utilized certain quantitative risk measures in conjunction with its fundamental investing experience and portfolio construction philosophy. Other methodologies for ranking asset classes may produce different results. Since past performance of investments is no guarantee of future performance, no assurance can be given, each funding option incurs its own risks, which will be dependent upon the investment decisions made by the respective portfolio manager. This list is intended to be only a guide to investment risk. Please consult the appropriate prospectus for more complete information, including costs, expenses and risks for each investment choice.

  • Automated Investment Strategies Dollar Cost Averaging 2 Rebalancing 1 1 While diversification through an asset allocation strategy is a useful technique that can help to manage overall portfolio risk and volatility, there is no certainty or assurance that a diversified portfolio will enhance overall return or outperform one that is not diversified. 2 A dollar cost averaging strategy involves continuous investment in securities regardless of fluctuating price levels. Participants should consider whether they wish to continue purchases through periods of fluctuating prices. Dollar cost averaging does not ensure a profit nor does it protect against a loss in declining markets.
